DACHSER Singapore unveils new warehouse to strengthen logistics capabilities
A new chapter in DACHSER Singapore’s journey has unfolded recently, with the grand opening of its relocated and enhanced warehouse. The event was celebrated with a traditional lion dance symbolizing prosperity, a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by top executives, and a guided tour showcasing the facility’s cutting-edge capabilities.

The building meets high standards in terms of innovation and sustainability. From the integration of energy-efficient lighting to responsible waste management practices, the warehouse has been designed to have a low environmental footprint. This aligns with DACHSER’s long-term vision of embedding sustainability aspects into its operations.
Roman Mueller, Managing Director for Air & Sea Logistics Asia Pacific, emphasized the broader strategic importance of the move: “Singapore continues to be a vital gateway for businesses operating in Asia and beyond. This relocation signifies more than just a physical expansion. It reflects our continuous growth, adaptability and dedication to service excellence to support our customers more effectively with increasing demands of global trade.”
“The investment demonstrates the company’s commitment not only to its clients, but also to environmental stewardship and the expectations of future generations,” stated Kitty Teo, Managing Director for Air & Sea Logistics Singapore and Malaysia. “It is a strategic move positioning DACHSER for continued growth in an increasingly competitive industry.”
Warehouse certified for efficiency and flexibility
The relocation is accompanied by the continued benefit of DACHSER Singapore's Secure Trade Partnership (STP) certification from Singapore Customs. This certification highlights DACHSER's adherence to stringent security standards, ensuring trusted and efficient operations. Additionally, the Licensed Warehouse Schedule Type II upgrade allows the company to store non-dutiable goods, offering enhanced flexibility and greater value to customers
Achieving the "Enhanced" level in the TradeFIRST assessment has further streamlined DACHSER’s customs clearance processes, facilitating smoother trade flows through Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA) with countries such as Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, and the United States. These developments strengthen DACHSER Singapore’s role in facilitating trade across ASEAN markets, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Looking ahead, DACHSER Singapore is well equipped to manage more shipments, streamline operations and expand its global services with this new space. By continuously enhancing the customer experience through integrated logistics solutions—including air and sea logistics, warehousing, and value-added services—DACHSER is poised to deliver operational excellence.
